- Dr. Roth's medical grade magnets are made from the rare earth element neodymium boron iron. The element is pulverized and added to a silicone base. The magnet is then carefully polarized in such as way as to enhance those qualities that are believed to be most beneficial. It has been polarized intensely on the negative side and has been weakly polarized on the positive side.
