How to use Nail & Foot Gel
The Nail & Foot Gel can be used independently on mild cases of fungus that involve one or more nails. Apply the gel, twice daily, directly on, under, and around the affected nails. When used at night, the effectiveness of the gel can be enhanced by the use of an occlusive cover, such as the Toe Cots.
Before using the Nail and Foot Gel, any existing fungus should be cleared from the nail as much as possible. Methods include cutting back the nail and filing it down. In severe cases, a full debridement of the nail by a podiatrist may be necessary.

Methods:
Over the course of a year, the Nail & Foot Gel was tested on over one hundred private patients in Dr. Roth's office. The Nail & Foot Gel was tested using two methods:
On one half of the patients, the Nail & Foot Gel was used on one foot and the second foot was left untreated.
On the other half of the test subjects, the Nail & Foot Gel was used on one foot, and a competing product on the second foot.
The patients' results were monitored approximately every eight to ten weeks during their return visits to the office.
Results:
Patients using the Nail & Foot Gel found that within approximately three to four weeks, there was clearing at the base of the nails on the treated foot.
It took up to twelve months for the nail to grow out completely clear; depending on how quickly the patient's nails grow and how severe the problem was. In severe cases, a significant reduction in the amount of fungus was found, but the nails were not always completely clear by the end of the test period. These same patients opted to continue using the Nail & Foot Gel because of the substantial improvement in the health and appearance of their nails. Some patients found that their nails showed very good response for several months, but then the results slowed down.
However, with persistence and sufficient instructional compliance the fungal infection will respond to the nail gel and clear. Use of toe cot at night is an excellent way to shorten the response time.
Patients with Athlete's foot or cracked heels, as well as nail fungus, were instructed to also apply the gel to the affected areas on their test foot.
